Looks like quite an adventure (Can’t decide to vote for “Hope” or Patronus statue as my favorite image.) Miso soup – yum!
We pack it into our weekends together. We were celebrating Brett’s birthday in the city. I left out the three movies we watched. No pics of that. ๐ Loved that Japanese place. We got 3 rolls for 11.50. Their soup was amazing. I liked how hope came out. Though the Patronus statue was really cool. It was a real deer that a taxidermist had treated and then the artist put cells and pixels on it. (All we saw was the Harry Potter Patronus)
Awesome weekend Kourtney.

Thanks! ๐
Great photos. Thanks for sharing your experience.
We packed a ton into one weekend. It was such a great break from writing.
That looks like a great soul-refreshing weekend, Kourtney!
I definitely came back ready for one last run through of the book! ๐
I’m so hungry right now, and I am simultaneously watching a cookery contest show on TV where they’re making some amazing stuff, and blog reading where I now see photos of yummy yummy food here, and I know I have nothing exciting to eat in my kitchen – this is food torture!
LOL. That’s a tough combination. Can you order in? Or send someone out to fetch you some good eats? ๐
It turned out my kitchen supplies weren’t too bad, I’ve just whipped up a batch of sour cream and banana muffins, and I’m currently marinating some chicken thighs in lemon juice and garlic to cook up later (in some way or other that I haven’t decided yet), so I don’t think I’ll go hungry, phew!
Thank goodness! The muffins sound yummie. As do the chicken thighs. Hope you have a delicious meal later!
In case you’re interested (and why wouldn’t you be), I ended up adding soy sauce, chilli oil and honey to the chicken, and serving it with some Vietnamese rice noodles and stir-fry veg, and it’s definitely because of seeing your food on here that I went Asian, so you influenced our dinner last night! Tune in later today folks and I’ll update on what I had for breakfast ๐
Of course I am because a)it’s you and b) it’s cooking. ๐ That sounds amazing. I love Asian cuisine because there are so many layers to the flavors. I need to cook it more often. LOL. Can’t wait to hear about breakfast!
Oh well if you insist, breakfast was the banana and sour cream muffins I made yesterday! Muffins always sound much more acceptable for breakfast than cake don’t they, and yet they’re pretty much the same thing!
Sounds delicious! They do don’t they? I had my scrambled eggs and toast. I have it pretty much every morning like a robot. But I hate mornings so breakfast is something I just need to muddle through and then I’m really awake.
Amazing gallery, dear Kourt…. I love every single pic here…. Sending love and best wishes. Aquileana โ๏ธ
Thanks. It was a great weekend in the city. Made me miss the years when I lived there. Hugs.
I love looking at other people’s photos. Particularly food!
I was strapped for time Sunday night so I figured a photo collage was worth 500 words. ๐
good idea ๐
Looks like a fun (yummy) weekend!
It was so delicious and fun and we adventured all over Manhattan. We cram a lot into 48 hours. ๐
Now that looked like a full on weekend Kourtney ๐ I hope you had Fun ๐
It was a great weekend. We squeezed in movies too. We really live when we get together and maximize our fun. ๐
