Here’s where I’ll be popping up on Monday through Wednesday:
Audrey Kalman’s blog: A revealing Q&A on crossing genres, character development, and the use of photos in the book: June 10th
My Random Muse: A fun-filled Q&A about my writing habits–music vs. no music, what’s on my desk, and why Wisconsin: June 11th
Emmie Mears’s blog: Guest posting on the plausibility of ESP: June 12th
There’s a Six Train ebook and swag bag giveaway going on over at Pretty in Pink Books and Reviews until Wednesday.
The signing at the Meriden Humane Society was a very sunny day (Yay! Andrea left!) but unfortunately we didn’t get a tent. I hid under my UV coated parasol, but Mom got lobster burns and we had to leave earlier than expected because she wasn’t feeling well.
Big thanks to my elementary school friend, Doug Haddad for coming out to get a book signed and chat with me! It’s been awesome to talk writing with a fellow author!
This week is our big author event at the Haight-Brown Vineyard in Litchfield, CT on June 13th. It’s a wine+cheese+doorprize ticketed event with a fun talk about what HBV wines my characters and I would enjoy. Can’t wait to see my friends and family there and meet new readers and chat about the book!

You are a busy gal these days. Sorry to hear about your mom. Hope she’s doing better. I finally started The Six Train this weekend! We’ve had house guests so I haven’t been able to make much progress. But one of our guests asked about the book when she saw it on the coffee table. I gave her the one-line summary and bragged about the author being one of my writing friends 😉 She was intrigued by the premise, so I encouraged her to add it to her Goodreads. Looking forward to checking out your guest posts.
June is turning into quite a rush of activities. 🙂 Aw thanks. I felt so bad because I had my parasol just in case but it wasn’t big enough to cover two people. Oh Yay! Totally understand. Summertime guests are important and have to be tended to. 😉 That’s awesome. Thanks so much! LOL. *Blushing* that you bragged about me. Hope you find something fun and something useful in them. 🙂
Poor mom! Best wishes on the blog hop.
Thanks Catherine! She was feeling pretty sun sick on Saturday but now she’s better. Next time, we bring long sleeves and extra parasols.
Hope your mom is feeling better–sunburns make me sick too. Looking forward to seeing you on the continued blog tour. Eat your Wheaties.
Yeah, she just needed to get out of the sun and have a good night’s sleep. 🙂 Thanks Kathryn! I’m feeling much better. This antibiotic is really doing wonders. And the prednisone really helped relax the bronchis. I’m at 95%. 🙂
Glad to hear both you and your mom are feeling better. That sunshine can be too intense sometimes! Looking forward to this week’s blog hopping!
Thanks JM! I felt terrible for her. We were told there would be a tent. I am super paranoid about my skin so I had on sunscreen and brought a parasol just in case. She didn’t. At first, she was okay. But 2 hours in direct sunlight was a lot. 3.5 became unbearable for her. Thanks! We’ve got some fun stops and leaps ahead. 😉
Another busy week ahead. I hope your mom is feeling better.
Happy to report your authorgraph came through. I am now a proud owner of an autographed copy of The Six Train to Wisconsin ebook. 🙂
She’s lobster red but feeling okay again. 😉

Thanks Mayumi! My publicist said to shoot for 30-45 guest blogs. I’m doing my best to get the word out. Hopefully it works. 🙂 Aw thanks. I’ve got some fun topics on some cool blogs. It’s gonna be another great week!
So awesome, Kourtney. I admire your drive to promote the book.
Thanks Lori! I wanted to do everything I could for this book so I wouldn’t have regrets. Hopefully, it all helps. If not, at least I know I did everything I could. 🙂
I hope I have that same drive if I decide to go indie. Keep up the good work.
Hope so too. 🙂 It’s a ton of work, but it’s still pretty cool to be talking about my book. 🙂 LOL. Will do!
