aww, thanks, Kourtney! I’ve got a warm fuzzy feeling in my belly now.

    • You’re welcome Jenny! 🙂 Glad to spread some blog love.

      • Jenny says:

*smacks forehead* I don’t know what I was thinking! Congrats on winning the awards so you could pass them on. I really like your blog a lot. I got a lot out of the most recent ones about your visit to the convention in NY. Very educational and they almost made me think I was the one there and not just reading about it.

        • LOL. Ouchy. Thanks so much. I’m delighted to hear you like my blog. *Grinning from ear to ear and turning tomato red* I want to pass along knowledge that I gain at conferences. I think they are a super valuable experience and I love sharing it with my readers. Aw that’s the best compliment ever. 🙂

  2. Cat Forsley says:

I checked out your site and read your “How I got here” section. It gave me a lot of inspiration to continue my journey. It’s people like you and Emmie Mears who make me happy to be apart of this awesome world of writing.

Congratulations on your blogger awards. It’s evident you deserve them!

    • Thanks so much! It’s a really tough journey and you don’t know when it will be “your turn” but it’s nice to meet people along the way and struggle along together. 🙂 As long as we keep trying and don’t give up, we haven’t failed. 🙂

Emmie is the best! I’m so glad I got to meet her in New York. I adore her and her blog.

      Thanks! Aw, you’re so kind.

  5. Such an honor, Kourtney! Thanks so much for passing your well-deserved honor on to me. I could say similar things about you and your blog.

Your website is lovely! So it that pattern. 😉

    • Thanks August! Your blog always lightens my mood, focuses my mind on healthier choices, and makes me a better person for reading it. 🙂 It is pure sunshine shining down on me.

Thanks! I’ve been doodling that pattern since I was in middle school. 🙂

  6. Lisa Hayes says:

Thanks, Kourtney! Glad to know that I’m bringing some sunshine and, obviously, so are you. I won’t forget that Emmie and You have been reaching out your hand in friendship during my dive into social media – it is MUCH appreciated…

    • Your welcome! Definite rays through the clouds. 🙂 It’s a tough road to being published, I’m glad I met you along the way. Loved your Q&A with your manager on your blog-very insightful and relevant to both the music and the publishing industry. Social media is tricky for me too–I’m still learning. LOL I had no idea what #FF meant on Twitter until I googled it a few weeks ago.

Congrats little miss sunshine. I take it you are not so sunny in the morning. I am.

You have won many blog awards. Why not become professional Blogger . Make some money.

    Best of luck Kour.

    • Thanks! I’m never a morning person. It’s been an amazing outpouring of blogger love. I don’t know how I could parlay blogging into a profession, but it’s an interesting idea. But I think my heart lies in writing novels.

  9. Wow Kourtney, I’m honored! 😀 My first award! I’ll wear it with pride and pass it forward soon. 🙂

And congrats on your many awards as well. You’re an inspiration! 🙂

    • You’re very welcome! Aw that’s awesome. There’s no pressure to participate, I just like to pass it on and show love for the blogs I follow. 🙂 Thanks! It was so unexpected. *Still smiling* 🙂
