Countdown to Asia

I’ve got a thing for ancient civilizations. Which is why in 2 days I am departing for a huge backpacking trip.

I fly to London to meet my travel companion, OL. After two quick days there, we fly to Hong Kong for 8 days. Then Phuket Town in Thailand for a week.

Onto Shanghai, Xi’an, and Beijing for 3 weeks.

Stopping in Seoul, South Korea for a week. Then back to Hong Kong for a few days. Onto London overnight before departing for the US.

What does this mean for you, my lovely blog readers?

As long as I have Internet and access, there will be posts. But mainland China may not allow me to access my blog website. So there may be a lull in blogging. I’ll try to set up an auto post for once a week before I enter China. And as soon as I hit Seoul, I’ll catch you up on China travels.

Which means you’ll be hearing all about my travels for the next 7-10 weeks. With intermittent book reviews and rants. Because traveling means I get a break from revision and drafting. And can turn my attention to READING!!!

I’ve got 11 books on my Ipad and 3 in my backpack.

I’ve been packing for three weeks now. I think I’m almost ready. 🙂
